TDT Collections

Tourist Development Tax Collections for the month of August were up 10.3 percent from FY 2018. Year-to-date collections are down 9.8 percent from the FY 2018. 

Note: The TDC uses FY 2018 for comparison purposes in order to factor out the false economy that occurred in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

PCB Foodie Pass Launches

Visit Panama City Beach is excited to announce we have launched our Panama City Beach Foodie Pass. This Mobile-Exclusive Savings Passport will allow both locals and visitors to receive discounts or promotional offers from local outdoor dining restaurants that choose to participate. We encourage any partners who own eateries with outdoor dining to sign up to be a part of our Foodie Pass.

Pirates of the High Seas Virtual Fest

The first Virtual Pirates of the High Seas Fest took place last week on October 5-11. Visit PCB hosted a virtual scavenger hunt on the destination website a costume contest and posted live videos on Facebook. Participants had the chance to win FUN pirate swag as well as a trip to Panama City Beach.

 695 people entered the sweepstakes and there were 23,000 Video Views.

Award Winning Meetings Destination

Visit Panama City Beach has been presented with an Annual Reader's Choice Award from Convention South, the national multimedia resource for planning events in the South. Over 3,000 meeting destinations were nominated for the award this year and 375 were chosen. Thank you to everyone who voted for Panama City Beach, the destination for Real. Fun. Meetings.
