TDT Collections

The Tourist Development Tax Collection for the month of January had a 133 percent increase over the same month in 2018 with a 76 percent increase for the fiscal year. Overall, collections are up $2.1 million since the beginning of the fiscal year.

Wine Down at UNwineD

The lineup of fantastic entertainment and events in 2019 continues with the third annual UNwineD event, presented in partnership with Southern Living magazine. The annual two-day event takes place March 22-23 at Aaron Bessant Park will feature craft beer and wine tastings, creative cocktails, culinary creations by the South's top leading chefs, and live musical performances from Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile and national recording artist, JOHNNYSWIM. Be sure to check out the partner toolkit, where you can find event logos, billboards, and more to assist you in marketing the event.

Media & Creative Update

Visit Panama City Beach media and creative campaigns have been updated post storm to keep PCB top of mind and to remind everyone to plan ahead for spring. Two new creative campaigns were launched to transition to the broader messaging strategy that connects our local community with our visitors, with this month transitioning to our second phase of the Make It Yours campaign.

Sports & Events Workshop

Thank you to those who attended our annual Sports and Special Events Workshop on February 20th at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort! New to the program this year was a presentation from Miles Partnership for "Google My Business" training, as well as a presentation from our advertising agency on cooperative programs for 2019. Winter Residents

Our 2019 winter residents celebrated another exciting Grand Finale to close out the winter resident events for the season. Our Visitor Services staff proudly hosts several great events each winter season, to thank all of our winter guests for making Panama City Beach their home away from home. 

SandJam Fest presented by Pepsi

The sugar white sands of Panama City Beach will set the stage for the second annual adult-alternative rock music festival, SandJam Fest presented by Pepsi, coming up on April 26-28. Performers include: Kings of Leon, Third Eye Blind, Young The Giant, Dirty Heads, Cold War Kids and more! To check out the full lineup, click here.

Springtime in Panama City Beach offers not only perfect beach weather and plentiful sunshine, but also an exciting calendar of events! From the Emerald Coast Boat and Lifestyle Show on March 15-17 to the Seabreeze Jazz Festival on April 24-28, there isn't an event for everyone in the family to enjoy!
