TDT Collections

The Tourist Development Tax Collection for the month of March had a 10.51 percent increase over the same month in 2018 with a 53 percent increase for the fiscal year. Overall, collections are up $2.8 million since the beginning of the fiscal year.

Happy Tourism Appreciation Month!

Panama City Beach owes a lot to tourism and for this year's Tourism Appreciation Week in Florida, we hosted a Real. Fun. Celebration. on Tuesday, May 7th at the M.B. Miller County Pier. This free celebration for the community featured food trucks, fireworks, prizes, live music and more and was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who works so hard to promote this great destination and for coming out to support tourism in PCB!

Twitter Chat with Travel Mindset

Visit Panama City Beach joined Travel Mindset and iExplore for a Twitter Chat on April 24th to promote the destination and answer questions from participants on the social media platform. Each of the influencers used in the Twitter Chat were selected based on their interest and expertise in beach, leisure and culinary travel. Both Travel Mindset and iExplore promoted the chat on Facebook and Instagram during the week leading up to the event to encourage audience participation. As a result, the Twitter chat received great feedback with over 85 million impressions, 2,070 tweets and 279 participants! In addition, 393 tweets were sent out using the hashtag #RealFunBeach, generating a total of 19.1 million impressions. To check out the Visit PCB twitter page, click here.

Fall Co-ops Now Available!

The cooperative programs for the fall season are now available! The 2019 year has been a successful one so far and we are working to continue your brand's reach throughout the remainder of the year. While still offering past popular programs, we are excited to bring partners new and updated offerings like:

Chasin’ The Sun, our award-winning fishing and coastal lifestyle TV show, is now available on Amazon Prime in the "Outdoors 360" category.  You can also catch season four episodes Saturday mornings on Discovery Channel through June and watch all episodes from each season at ChasinTheSunTV.com.

Visitor Services at 231 Welcome Center

Visit Panama City Beach Visitor Services staff member, Bill Poteet, shared information about events and the destination, to travelers stopping at the 231 Visit Florida Welcome Center's Spring Fest during the month of April. Our team visits this welcome center several times throughout the year to connect with visitors and share information. In addition the Spring Fest, the team also participates in I-10 Visit Florida Welcome Center's Summer Fest, held in early June.

Real. Fun. Events.

When you combine family fun, jeep activities and thousands of Jeep enthusiasts at "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches", you get the highly anticipated 4th annual Jeep Beach Jam. This five day family event will be held at Aaron Bessant Park, May 14-19 and will include intracoastal off road trail rides, a poker run, multi-day scavenger hunt, beach bonfires, a drive in movie night and more!
