TDT Collections

The Tourist Development Tax Collection for the month of June had a 7.5 percent decrease over the same month in 2018 with a 34.7 percent increase for the fiscal year. Overall, collections are up $3.2 million since the beginning of the fiscal year. 

 

DestiMetrics

 

For the month of June, occupancy had a 0.3 percent increase and a 1.3 percent decrease in ADR over the same month in 2018 fiscal year. The month of July had a projected performance of a 5.4 percent increase in occupancy and a 2.6 percent decrease in ADR over the same month in 2018.The past six months had a 22.4 percent increase in occupancy and a 2.5 percent decrease in ADR. The six months ahead have a projected performance of a 2.1 percent decrease in occupancy with a 0.7 percent decrease in ADR.

 Welcome, Helen Adami!

The Visit Panama City Beach staff welcomes Helen Adami to the Sales team as the Director of Destination Sales. In her role, Adami will spearhead the development and management of Visit Panama City Beach’s travel and tradeshow sales programs and initiatives. Prior to her new role, Adami gained extensive experience as sales coordinator for Lamar Advertising and later went on to serve as the Director of Marketing and Events with the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce.
