TDT Collections

Tourist Development Tax Collections for the month of April are down 84.9 percent from April 2018.  Year-to-date collections are down 23.8 percent from the 2018 fiscal year. 

Real. FUN. Fourth.

We're so excited to announce we will be holding our annual Real. FUN. Fourth. event this year. Fireworks will be held at the County and City piers at 9 p.m. on July 4. For more information on the event click here.

Reopening Panama City Beach to Visitors

Beach Responsibly Rack Card

   

As visitors and locals return to our beaches, we're making sure to remind them of the importance of maintaining a safe social distance between themselves and beach-goers. The "Beach Responsibly" Rack Cards will be distributed at the Visitor Information Center and by our Beach Ambassadors. Additionally, they are available to you, our partners, to share with your visitors.

 

Sports Complex Update

The PCB Sports Complex had its first tournament since March with USFA  Softball and Perfect Game USA Baseball May 29-31. With new social  distancing guidelines in place, over 80 teams played games at the new  complex.

 

Sales Update

The sales team has kept current on meetings industry news and is eager to share the latest data on the future of this segment. We're encouraged to see a cautious but positive turn in predictions from meeting experts, and excited to know that Panama City Beach remains a strong candidate for bookings in 2021 and beyond.

More planners are sourcing and booking meetings, and confidence in holding future events has improved, according to Northstar Meetings Group's latest Pulse Survey. And from Successful Meetings 'Where, When & How Will Meetings Come Back?'
