TDT Collections

Tourist Development Tax Collections for the month of July were down 1.6 percent from FY 2018. Year-to-date collections are down 12.3 percent from the FY 2018.

Note: The TDC uses FY 2018 for comparison purposes in order to factor out the false economy that occurred in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

Hurricane Donations Drive

As we all know, hurricane damage and devastation can cause deep and lasting impacts in communities.

Bay County knows that all too well, as we had to endure the devastation from Hurricane Michael in 2018.

Right now, all of our friends to the west are experiencing widespread devastation from both Hurricane Sally and Hurricane Laura, and it’s our turn to give back and offer our help and support.

Visit Panama City Beach is reaching out to our TDC partners and any/all Panama City Beach businesses to solicit donations in the form of food, supplies and monetary donations (for gift card purchases).

Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated, and donations can be dropped off at the Panama City Beach Visitors Center, or a pick up can be arranged by contacting Barrie Ainslie at 850-233-5070.

PCB Foodie Pass Partnership with Bandwango

Visit Panama City Beach is excited to announce we will be launching a Mobile-Exclusive Savings Passport this fall known as the Panama City Beach Foodie Pass. The passport will allow both locals and visitors to receive discounts or promotional offers from local restaurants that choose to participate. We partnered with Bandwango, a company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, for this promotion. We will have more information on this soon. Make sure to keep an eye out for it this fall!

We'll have a costume contest throughout the entire week. Participants will have the chance to win prizes by participating in our scavenger hunt and costume contest!

Additionally, they are available to you, our partners, to share with your visitors.

Touring Partner Properties

By the Sea Resorts hosted a FAM tour, where our Sales Department was given the opportunity to visit their properties. The tour was very beneficial as it showcased all of the group offerings available to those interested in Panama City Beach. We would love to visit your property, if you'd like us to visit please contact Renee Wuerdeman.

The Sales Department meets for weekly sales training and welcomes speakers from our accommodation partners. If you have not participated in this program, we would love to have you join us!
